My Least Favorite Word In The World: Tomorrow

tomorrow-is-the-worst-word

I can’t stand the word tomorrow. Ugh, I hate it!

It robs people of their motivation, wealth, dreams, health, and life. The word tomorrow is the most deceitful word in the English language.

It lies when it promises that today isn’t the day to do something. It says:

  • “Work out tomorrow, how’s one day going to make a difference?”
  • “Start writing tomorrow, books take time to write anyway.”
  • “Apologize to your loved one tomorrow, you don’t need that stress today.”

And it’s always greedy, always asking for more tomorrows and tomorrows. It truly never stops.

That is unless you have the guts to take control of your life and stop giving into the lying whisper, “Just do it tomorrow. It’ll be ok.”

I’m telling you now, it won’t be ok and it won’t get done!

You’ll Wait Forever For Tomorrow

“What is not started today is never finished tomorrow” — Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

“Tomorrow is only found in the calendar of fools.” — Og Mandino

Those two quotes beautifully highlight the importance of the present moment. Life is all about living the adventure you desire now, not waiting for later.

Because here’s the deal: tomorrow never comes.

You’ll stay trapped in the spell of tomorrow, which ruins your zeal for life and hope of the future.

So if you’re extremely passionate about something, you have to do it now. You can’t let another minute go by. If you wait, tomorrow is going to kick your butt again and continue to steal your happiness.

What magnifies this problem is sooner or later, you won’t have any good tomorrows left. You’ll be old and without the energy to pick up the dreams of your youth. Eventually you’ll be dead tomorrow, and live a life that had potential to be and give so much more.

What have you been procrastinating on today by telling yourself you will do it tomorrow? What’s that big idea in the back of your mind that you can barely think of because you’ve put it off for so long?

Take Action Today

Guess what? Today everything changes.

Today is when you stop saying you’ll do it tomorrow. Today is when you go from wondering what it would be like to climb your mountain to actually feeling the inspiration.

Today is a monumental moment in your life. Today is where you get started(checkmark) on your thing to make your dreams come true.

Take massive action today and your entire life will change for the better. I promise you that. Then use your momentum to take action tomorrow and the next day. Soon you’ll be in a routine wondering why you didn’t get started earlier.

What are you going to start right now, today? Go do it. The world is waiting for you to change it.
